This Meet-Up Group is meant for anyone living in or near Lower Westchester who has an interest in knowing others who share their passion for craftin' and are looking for creative inspiration, and want to expand their network and their knowledge of crafts, business ideas and opportunities. Our friendly neighborhood stitch circle generally gathers on the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month, from 7-9 pm in the evening. We're located in the far NW corner of NYC, in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, near to both the Henry Hudson & Broadway Bridges, so folks from the Heights, Inwood, Kingsbridge, Spuyten Duyvil, Yonkers, Bronxville and even 'upstate' Westschester are encouraged to join us. This is a group for anyone who loves to knit or wants to learn to knit. We will work on small projects for donations, particularly hats, scarves and mittens to be donated during the "Midnight Run" over the winter. Beginners welcome, help will be available. Discover Camp is a summer day camp founded in 2008. It was founded by Anthony Rich who is a full time educator, teaching since 1994. The camp focuses on technology but has over 100 courses in everything from 3D Printing to Radio controlled cars to Jewelry Making to Lacrosse.
