This weekend, I'm in need of a crafty networking fix, so I thought I would try something new and adventuresome... I'm going to attend the Church of Craft gathering at the main branch of the Multnomah County Library, downtown... Here's the link for the project they are doing...coil basketry http://www.multcolib....  I'm not actually planning to work on that project though, I'll probably bring my own UFO... Anyone interested? For anyone on public transportation, I'll assume you already know your way around downtown. For anyone who wants to come and is driving, whatever you do, I recommend staying on 10th, 11th, or 12th streets. All of which are one-way streets. Since I don't often go downtown on Sunday afternoons, I can't say whether the street parking is any good since things have changed so much in recent years, but there's an excellent parking garage on 10th and Yamhill which is kitty-corner to the Library. If any of you decide to come, and need more specific directions, send me an email. Kay |
