Hey everybody, so i have been a bad meetup member lately :(
but in my defense going to school full time and working full time is crazy busy!

But I have a month off of school in may and saw there weren't any meetups posted yet. I was wondering if anybody knew how to make resin jewelry? I have been wanting to learn that forever and so just wanted to put it out there to see if any ladies would want to teach me (and hopefully a bunch of others :)

I would volunteer my house for the meetup, but would be equally happy if we have it somewhere else too!

some examples of what i want to make:

I've never done resin work either and would definitely be interested in learning. I believe you can get the same look by using several layers of Diamond Glaze provided you have a mold of some type.

Yes I agree Victoria, I think Diamond Glaze will do the job using pendant trays; both sold at www.paperstudio.com. I think embossing enamel will work too. www.Resinobsession.com is another site to check out. you-tube also has a few videos demonstrating step by step techniques. Just type in "resin jewelry" and you can view lots of them.

I'm in if you guys decide to hold this meeting. Thanks!

Me, too! Looks way cool. I've experimented using UTEE to make an ATC. The result was pretty cool, but the mold was hard to get right. If molds are readily available, it will be much easier.

Depending on the day - I'd be into this. I am pretty busy in mid-May. End of May would be better.
